Well Howdy.

It’s been a rough week to say the least. I don’t want to get into it so lets just leave it right there.

As in other news….
Keira cut two teeth this week and is working on three or four more. She’s slept through the night again a few nights. Other night’s she gets up once, just cause she’s thirsty or dirty. She woke up this morning around 3:30 and had wet the bed so I had to change her bed while she drank her milk. Thing is she didn’t want it. I changed her and changed her bed but she kept throwing her milk down. Once she was cleaned up I just gave her her pacifier back and she went back to sleep.

She’s also getting over a sinus infection so that’s another reason why she’s not been sleeping well. She’s learned several new words as well! She can say giraffe, box, kiss, kitty and zebra. She goes to daycare during the day and she has several friends she plays with and she’s learning to say their names. There is Elijah (her little “boyfriend” ever since the infant room!), Sadie and Ryan.

Elijah has always been with Keira when ever I go to pick her up, either him or Ryan. Keira dropped her sippy cup one day when I picked her up and I went to get it and give it to her but Ryan got to it first. I thought he’d drink it so I tried to get it from him. He jerked it away from me and handed it to Keira. :) Elijah – almost every time I pick her up he starts fussing cause she’s going home. When they were in the crawler room together he’d pull on my pants and hang on to me so I couldn’t walk to get her! :) Those two boys are so sweet!

On to Seth – we signed him up for baseball this year! He’s played soccer for Upward before, he likes soccer A LOT but he didn’t like playing with that organization. I know it’s supposed to be all about equality and what not but he didn’t know why they didn’t keep score (even though us parents did) and why they didn’t get trophies for winning their age group (which they did but you know – they don’t keep up with it). He thought it was silly that they did that.

This is the last year that he can play recreation ball….so next year he will have to try out for the baseball team if he wants to play or for the soccer team, which ever. I’m worried about him playing with these other kids. I mean he knows how to catch a ball and how to hit but I’m just being the weird mom I guess. We are getting his cleats tomorrow and his first practice is Thursday at SEVEN at night. WTH? I’ll have to leave Keira with Jeremy cause it will be too cold for her to be out.

Anyway – there you go. What have you and your family been up to???
